Echoes of the Dark God

Testing Unity for the first time for a dungeon crawler/rpg game.

This alpha version is like a working mini-adventure. There's now a small area to explore, leveling up to level 4, working skill trees, treasure chests to loot, a boss encounter, secrets and riddles!

Any feedback appreciated!

Controls

Dungeon Controls:

• WASD + QE: Movement & Strafing
• SPACE: Interact with the world (open doors, loot chests, etc.)
• I: Toggle Inventory
• F9: Load saved game (if one exists)
• END: Quit the game (without confirmation or warning)

   Settings / Technical:

• F: Toggle FPS-counter
• V: Toggle VSync

   Open skills trees by clicking the character portraits, and level up when enough XP!

Inventory Controls:

• Change selected character with the slider. The inventory is shared by the party.
• Right click on a usable item to use it on selected character
• RIght click on an equippable item to equip it on selected character (or remove it if equipped)
• You can also drag items around
• You can drag the inventory window around with left mouse button

Combat Controls:

Use mouse or these keys also work:

• A: Attack 
• S: Skill
• D: Defend
• I: Item
• E: Escape

You have to select the attack/skill target with mouse.

Alpha limitations

The max level in this version is 4 (four). The game will probably crash if you try to grind further.

Future Plans

Things I am aware the game is still missing, and things I want to do in the future:

• Character status screens
• Using skills outside of combat
• Combat speed options / auto-battle
• Choosing your own party and naming your characters at game start
• More character classes to choose from

And of course: More items, more skills, more secrets, more dungeon to explore! 😃
